KOMATSU DEMONSTRATION ARENA / FORWARDER COMPETITION
The Show will stage the Irish debut of the new Komatsu 865 forwarder with cab suspension. A course will be set out to show the advantages of the cab suspension over a normal fixed cab. The competition will consist of loading logs onto the machine, driving over obstacles, precision crane operation through a series of challenges with the logs and finally, building blocks into a tower at the finish. The fastest time will win - but time will be added for each fault incurred along the course, so the quickest driver may not win!
Komatsu will have 2 driver trainers on site to organise and to judge/referee each attempt (and also to verify driver competence before start).
